ATLANTIS Consulting S.A. participates in ART4SEA project, which is implemented under the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), as a Creative Europe Programme.
The Kick-Off Meeting of ART4SEA project took place in Cosenza, Italy, on 1st of March 2023, at the Executive Center of BCC Mediocrati in Rende. The meeting was hybrid, with members of Atlantis participating both in presence and virtually. Representatives of all partners participated in the meeting, planning the project’s first steps and having a fruitful collaboration.
ART4SEA aims to create a transnational and interdisciplinary cooperation program that involves artists, creative professionals, digital media experts, and marine scientists to co-produce a combination of physical and digital artworks focused on raising the public awareness about Ocean Degradation and Climate Change..
24 Artworks will be created after a distributed residency program which will take place in 3 small Med islands (Alonissos in Greece, Ustica in Italy and Gozo in Malta). Some of these artworks will be integrated with the marine, natural and architectural landscapes of the islands, while others will be digital. All the artworks will be digitized in a fully virtual exhibition enjoyable both on the web and the metaverse.
The total project budget amount is 1.426.786,00 € and its implementation period is 3 years (end date: 31/01/2026).
The project consortium includes 7 partners from 5 different countries: 3D Research (Italy) iWORLD International Association for the Safeguarding and Valorisation of the identities of Humanity (Italy), Fondazione Sebastiano Tusa (Italy), Atlantis Consulting SA (Greece) DAN Europe Foundation (Malta), Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior De Investigaciones Cientificas (Spain) and Municipality of Vlorë (Albania).
