Atlantis Consulting participated in the 6th Panhellenic Conference on Digital Cultural Heritage – EuroMed 2025, which took place in Athens from 19 to 22 November 2025. The conference is one of the leading scientific and technological gatherings in the field of digital cultural heritage, bringing together researchers, professionals, cultural institutions, and technology stakeholders from around the world.
As part of its participation, Atlantis Consulting presented good practices from European initiatives that promote Underwater Cultural Heritage through innovative digital technologies as touristic and educational products. In particular, reference was made to our current European project BCThubs, as the next step in this field, through the development of Blue Culture Technology (BCT) Excellence Hubs. These hubs are being established in Greece, Malta, and Bulgaria as regional innovation ecosystems within the framework of the project and will contribute to the sustainable protection, management, and promotion of Underwater Cultural Heritage, integrating VR, AR, and 3D/4D representations into sustainable tourism development models.
Participation in the conference reaffirmed Atlantis Consulting’s commitment to strengthening cross-border cooperation, research, and the application of innovative digital solutions for Underwater Cultural Heritage and sustainable development. The exchange of knowledge and good practices underlined the importance of systematically integrating digital technology into the protection and promotion of cultural heritage.
