Confluence Challenge Bootcamp successfully completed, where 18 teams qualified from the acceleration program. These teams presented very innovative solutions of 10+1 challenges of international companies: ALUMIL, ISOMAT and KLEEMANN. Confluence challenge will be finished with the Demo Day at 4th of December.
During the event of Bootcamp that was held in Alexander Innovation Zone, 23 teams presented their proposals for the companies’ challenges. The proposals impressed with their high-level of expertise, and finally 18 qualified in the next step. The qualified teams included by seven research organizations and Universities and Institutes, five startups, one spin-off company and five individuals.
Confluence Challenge came to develop the corporation between companies, startups and researchers in order to tackle the multifaced challenges of our time. Through Confluence Challenge, Architectural Aluminium Academy and I4byDesign are looking for innovative challenges to respond in specific challenges of international companies ALUMIL, ISOMAT and KLEEMANN. The acceleration program lasts 8 weeks and includes corporation and guidance from executives of these companies and specialized consultants. Furthermore, they will attend speeches, workshops and meeting with mentors.
Confluence Challenge will be completed in Demo Day at 4th December, where the best teams will share 30,000€ total amount awards. The winner will be awarded with the Confluence Excellence Award 15.000€. Furthermore, 3 thematic awards, 5,000€ each one: the Market Disruption Award, the Innovation for Society Award offered by One Stop Liaison Office of Region of Central Macedonia and the Technology Innovation Award offered by Thess INTEC. In conclusion, Alexander Innovation Zone offers 5.000€ for incubation services.
