Atlantis Consulting invites researchers, professionals, and organizations to submit their abstracts for the upcoming International Conference “New Challenges for Underwater Nature and Cultural Heritage Tourism during the Ocean Decade”, hosted by the AMU UNESCO Chair in Maritime and Coastal Archaeology in collaboration with the UNESCO 2001 Convention Secretariat.
Organized under the auspices of the UNESCO Chair in Maritime and Coastal Archaeology (MoMArch – Aix-Marseille University) and the UNESCO UNITWIN Network for Underwater Archaeology, the event is held in partnership with three EU projects: uBlueTec, ecoRoute, and TOURAL.
As a partner in these initiatives, Atlantis Consulting supports sustainable blue growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy. Together, the projects address Underwater Cultural and Natural Heritage through digital transformation, responsible tourism, and environmental sustainability.
Special Sessions
- Innovative Underwater Technologies – The uBlueTec Hub: advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy.
- Cultural and Creative Tourism in Rural and Remote Areas – The TOURAL Project: building regional innovation ecosystems and digital tools for sustainable tourism.
- Smart, Green, and Sustainable Underwater Tourism – The ecoRoute Approach: developing eco-friendly underwater routes in Europe’s outermost regions.
Researchers, practitioners, and institutions working in underwater archaeology, marine conservation, cultural heritage, tourism, and digital innovation are invited to contribute and join this international dialogue.
