Η Εκδήλωση MentorCult Demo Day ολοκληρώθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία!

The MentorCult Demo Day event concluded with great success!

The results event (Demo Day) of MentorCult took place on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 15:00 EEST, marking the completion of the first entrepreneurial mentoring program of the Greek Hub of Excellence under the BCThubs project. The online event attracted international participation, with attendees from Italy, France, Spain, Malta, Bulgaria, Tanzania, Poland, and Greece. The event was organized by Atlantis Consulting, a partner of the BCT Hubs project.

A total of eight teams from five countries — Greece, Poland, Italy, France, and Spain — participated in the final round. The teams consisted of 19 members in total, demonstrating full gender balance with 8 men and 11 women. Each team had seven minutes to present their idea, followed by a five-minute Q&A session with the judges. The participating teams were: Muotech, aqCONterra, Arqueo Drone, Past Mariners, WreckQuest, 3D Mare, i-Scuba Diving, and UCTS (Underwater Cultural and Technical Support). The projects were evaluated based on specific criteria, including market need, market size, competitive advantage, business model, team readiness, presentation quality, social and environmental impact, and investment readiness.

The Judging Committee consisted of experts from both academia and the business sector:

Christos Grapsas, Head of Future Technologies Department, Alumil

Konstantinos Tramtzas, General Director, Alexandria Innovation Zone

Dimitrios Tzovaras, Research Director, CERTH/ITI

Georgios Karantonis, Metavallon VC

Fabio Bruno, Professor, Department of Mechanical, Energy, and Management Engineering, University of Calabria

During the event, four awards were presented: • The Award for Highest Growth Potential went to i-Scuba Diving. • The Best Presentation Award was shared between aqCONterra and Past Mariners. • The Award for Greatest Social and Environmental Impact was presented to Past Mariners. • The Best Investment Readiness Award was once again awarded to i-Scuba Diving.

The event marked a significant milestone for MentorCult, highlighting the potential of innovative entrepreneurial ideas and fostering international collaboration across the fields of Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Cultural Heritage.

A warm thank you to all the teams who participated and contributed to the success of MentorCult!
