Atlantis organized yet another successful awareness and public-engagement activity within the framework of the ART4SEA project, aiming to inspire young people and highlight the importance of Ocean Health, Ocean Literacy, Culture, and Digital Technologies.
The event took place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the 3rd Experimental Primary School of Evosmos in the context of ART4SEA project. More than 70 students, aged 11–12 (5th and 6th grade), participated enthusiastically in the activities.
Two specialized members of the Atlantis team facilitated the session, which included:
- the screening of an awareness-raising video,
- interactive educational activities related to environmental protection,
- a guided tour of the ART4SEA Virtual Exhibition, where students explored the digital artworks created within the project, all themed around the environment and the preservation of our oceans.
By connecting with children and young people, the ART4SEA project aims to cultivate environmental awareness and emphasize the urgent need to protect marine ecosystems. During the workshop, students engaged in topics such as Oceans’ health, climate challenges, and the role of technology and culture in promoting sustainability.
The activity integrated seamlessly with the school’s thematic unit on “Environment”, giving students the opportunity to expand their understanding of environmental issues through interactive and creative methods. Their enthusiasm and curiosity demonstrated the strong impact of combining education with immersive digital experiences.
We would like to warmly thank the school and the teachers who participated with their classes for their excellent collaboration and their commitment to supporting actions that promote environmental awareness among young learners.
